Costing
I use my own components to makeup the window treatments to ensure that the very best quality is used and to keep charges to a minimum, making my prices competitive to mainstream suppliers.
The price includes the initial consultation visit, makeup of the window treatment and returning with the finished article to hang and dress them.
To confirm an order and book it in for workroom time I will ask for an initial deposit and with larger projects I will also request stage payments as the work progresses. In all cases the balance in full is due at the time of fitting and all window treatments remain the property of Curtains By Sandie until they are paid for in full.
All Quotes are valid for 30 days.
There is NO VAT applicable.
Curtains are charged per drop width.
Half widths are not charged as whole drops (as with many mainstream suppliers).
Additions of borders/contrast hems/trims etc are charged per width of fabric.
Blinds are charged per square metre
Additions of borders/trims etc are charged per linear metre.
Fabric
I hold accounts with Sanderson, Harlequin, Romo and Villa Nova and can source most branded fabrics for you.
If you wish to supply your own fabric a 30% surcharge will be added to the makeup fees.
Hardware
Charges for all hardware is done on an individual basis (poles, tracks etc) and is dependent on your budget and choice.
Fitter
I use a reliable and professional fitter that I have worked with for many years – charges are applied per hour.
